The PAL Led Optics Perimeter strip is the only strip we recommend for use around a swimming pool. The water in a swimming pool contains chlorine, and the off gassing from this destroys all other brands of LED strips in a short period of time. While these may appear cheaper to install on face value, its often expensive and sometimes impossible to replace these types of strips which usually last as little as 3 months
