Hyperion Accent LED Strip Light

Hyperion Accent is a flexible lineal LED strip lighting system that can be used for general and accent illumination in domestic and commercial lighting applications.

It is incredibly versatile and its ease of installation makes it the perfect choice for cove lighting, kitchen lighting, stairway, accent lighting and other lighting applications requiring a flexible LED strip.

Hyperion Accent LED strip light is manufactured in the USA by Nexxus Lighting, a US Energy Star Partner and Green Building Council member, and gives superior performance over alternative products.

Hyperion Accent uses a unique flexible strip conductor to electronically connect the LED lighting modules in conjunction with an easy connect jumper system for powering the LED strip lights.
Hyperion LED strip light can be mounted to any finished surface with its adhesive backing that covers 100% of the LED strip.
Unlike cheaper quality LED strip lighting products, the Hyperion Accent LED light modules are mounted on a ceramic block, preventing heat from damaging the adhesive backing.
Hyperion Accent LED strip light has a very short focal length, the LED strip can be mounted in shallow coves and still give an even light output.
Accent is available in 7 colours including 3000K Warm White, and its LED modules can be mixed and matched as required.

Array LED Energy Saving LED Light Bulb

Not all LED light bulbs are created equal, the trouble is finding the right LED lighting supplier delivering on ground breaking technology. Specialized Lighting Concepts i the only NZ supplier of the Array Lighting range of LED replacement light bulbs.

Most manufacturers of LED light bulbs use the same approach when developing an LED lamp. The lamps are manufactured using small number (1-5) of high power LEDs encased in heavy metal housings to act as heat sinks and attempt to draw the heat away from the LED die. This technique creates an expensive and heavy lamp, which usually requires hand assembly and is a rather crude way to manage the thermal dynamics of the lamp.

Array lamps use a larger number of high output, low power LEDs and a patent pending Selective Heat Sink Technology™ that uses thin metal rods positioned at key points on the circuit board. This allows heat to quickly be moved away from the circuit board keeping the LEDs and electronic components cool.
This unique form of heat sink allows Array LED lamps to use an injection moulded housing manufactured from Bayer MaterialScience® recycled plastics, resulting in a dramatic weight decrease.

LED Lighting Design

The QEII Park swimming pool recently approached Specialized Lighting Concepts to design a more reliable and energy efficient way to light their indoor swimming pool. The existing halogen lamps were unreliable and required constant relamping. SaVI Swimming Pool and Spa LED lights were chosen for the swimming pool lighting due to their high light output exceeding the current halogen lights, and with a life expectancy of 80,000 hours, re-lamping would not be required for another 20 years. The colour changing control of the SaVI pool LED swimming pool lights also complements the parks new water screen.

After successfully installing over 70 SaVI pool and spa LED lights, Specialized Lighting Concepts then designed and supplied an LED lighting system using 54 SaVI LED flood lights to replace the metal halide down lights that were causing glare on the water surface and also drowning out some of the colour. The new SaVI LED flood lights also work via DMX to create stunning colour scenes and tie together beautifully with the swimming pool underwater LED lighting

LED Dance Floor with Full Motion Video

The LED dance floor makes the perfect addition to any bar or nightclub lighting design or fashion show. The LED dance floor is a modular unit containing 16 rows x 16 rows of high power, surface mounted (SMD) LED lights. Each SMD represents 1 pixel allowing colours, shapes, text and video to be displayed on the dance floor, video capture can be used to project live images direct from the club or show to the dance floor.

This LED dance floor is installed at the Easy Tiger Bar, in Hamilton, New Zealand. Easy Tiger is Hamiltons newest bar, with the Waikato regions best restaurant located right next door, it is perfect for a night of fine dining, drinking and dancing with friends. The LED floor complements Easy Tigers LED lighting accent tubes, and is the first dance floor of its kind installed in New Zealand.

LED Water Feature - Sundial Square - Richmond Town Centre

Our latest project has combined our skills in water handling and LED lighting to create a stunning LED illuminated interactive water feature in Richmond, Nelson NZ.
The water feature represents the 7 natural aquifers in the Tasman District.
LED illumination brings the feature to life at night with custom colour shows and fountain sequencing.

Special thanks go to all the people involved in this project who helped bring the artists vision to life and provide the client with a stunning addition to a lovely town.
