| The Manukau City Council’s entry in the 2004 Ellerslie flower show was intended as an interactive sculptural interpretation of the traditional game of marbles. Fibre optic lighting was chosen not just for its fantastic visual effects, but also its safety, with no heat or electricity in the side glow fibre optic cable.
