Fibre Optics is an intrinsically safe form of task and special effects lighting. It can carry light up to 30m from the light source. Because the fibre is carrying light on and not electricity it is perfect for lighting in and around water, areas that may be prone to vandalism or to create unique effects lighting.

No Heat - Because fibre optic cable only transmits light, delicate materials can be illuminated without damage
No Electricity - Fibre optic cable can be installed by anyone, usually without requiring expensive tools. They are totally safe for use around water and in public spaces.
No Ultra Violet - Fibre optic cable carries no UV light so is perfect for use in the illumination of delicate objects where colour fading and damage may be an issue.
Flexibility & Creativity- Free from the constraints of traditional lighting techniques, fibre optics can be installed in areas where lightbulbs cannot be serviced, or damage may result in injury.
Low Maintenance - Optical fibre, once installed requires no further maintenance. As many light fitting can be run off a single light bulb, re-lamping costs are further reduced.
